YOUNGSTERS PLAY FOR FREE AFTER SUCCESSFUL FIRST YEAR AT WEST LONDON GOLF CENTRE
NORTHOLT / RUISLIP, WEST LONDON, UK – A local golf course has celebrated its anniversary by introducing free golf for children. And golfers have showered praise in the twelve months since the course opened for play. West London Golf Centre, which opened its new 9-hole golf course on Saturday July 5th 2014, has introduced the free golf offer – which applies if the child is accompanied by an adult – in response to the high number of families which regularly take advantage of the high-quality facility. “We’ve been overwhelmed by the praise the golf course has received in its first year” said the centre’s Director, Ceri Menai-Davis. “And with the driving range and Dinosaur Adventure Golf also here, it’s no real surprise that local families have enjoyed having something new to do in the area. “Hopefully, making our golf course free for youngsters to play on will prove popular with the local community, and well beyond. We’re trying to make it easy for young people to play golf. Our course is great for juniors, if they play from the forward tees, and it’s proving to be quite a challenge for the adults too!” Junior golfers can also join the club to be able to play any time, with or without an adult present, for a new low fee. Groups of golfers can also get a new deal if they play as a fourball, and green fees for casual visitors have been held at 2014 levels. Other first-birthday presents for visitors to West London Golf Centre include new short game facilities, an expanded coffee bar and the addition of two large TV screens showing golf, football and Ashes cricket. The full-length 9-hole West London Golf Centre course has attracted a lot of praise from golfers. Online reviews call it enjoyable and a tough challenge with excellent greens, with an average rating of 4.27 out of 5 on the influential Golfshake website. Ends. |
