• SkyCaddie’s ground-mapped courses now available on your smartphone for the first time

HADDENHAM, BUCKS, UK – SkyCaddie®, the most trusted Rangefinder in Golf, announces the introduction of the new SkyCaddie Mobile GPS App available for iOS and Android.

Now, golfers of all skill levels and budgets can save strokes and play better with golf’s only 100% ground-verified and error-corrected course maps through a variety of platforms, from the range of dedicated SkyCaddie GPS devices including SkyCaddie LINX, TOUCH and AIRE II, to smartphones or tablets via SkyCaddie Mobile.

The basic SkyCaddie Mobile App is a free download from the Apple App and Google Play stores. It enables golfers to find course ratings, scorecards and other helpful information such as prices, dress code and more. It also allows golfers to score their round as they play, capture basic stats for performance analysis and capture highlights and special moments with an integrated camera feature.

Premium features, such as the ability to access SkyCaddie's frequently-updated global library of TruGround® Course Maps using the phone's GPS signal, are available via an in-app purchase of SkyCaddie Mobile Premium for £20.99 per year.

SkyCaddie Mobile is handy to use if you have an older SkyCaddie, or a wearable SkyCaddie watch product with a smaller screen, and want to grab a quick look at the overall hole layout before using your dedicated SkyCaddie device to obtain the reliable distances which all golfers have come to trust.

Golfers can also use SkyCaddie Mobile as a backup should if they forget to put their SkyCaddie in their golf bag one day.

Existing SkyCaddie customers with eligible memberships will receive an automatic upgrade to SkyCaddie Mobile Premium at no extra cost as an additional benefit. SkyCaddie Members with the Double Eagle Plus 2 family memberships will find the new Mobile app an especially convenient way to introduce a family member to SkyCaddie in an affordable way.

SkyCaddie Mobile Premium includes many of the same features which are available in SkyCaddie’s dedicated GPS devices including:

• Auto-Hole Advance, which automatically advances to the next hole so the distances needed for the next shot are always ready.
• Measure Any Shot allows golfers to learn the distances of each club, making them better golfers and saving wasted strokes.
