SkyCaddie's web ad campaign supports PGA pros and golf media

HADDENHAM, BUCKS, UK – SkyCaddie’s three key product lines – GPS, SkyPro and SkyTrak – are all supported in the company’s major summer 2016 web and digital advertising campaign.

From this week, over a dozen of the UK’s most popular golf enthusiast websites and social media feeds will carry animations and static ads promoting the new SkyCaddie SW2 Watch, the leading personal swing analyser SkyPro, and golf’s hottest new personal launch monitor / golf simulator, the SkyTrak.

Each animated advertisement ends with a clear message: “See Your PGA Pro”.

he digital campaign is a follow-up to a national and regional print advertising campaign, which ran from April to July.

Leading golf magazines Today’s Golfer, Golf Monthly, Bunkered and National Club Golfer will carry the ads on their websites and in HTML emails to readers. Digital specialists #GCW, Golf Punk and Global Golf Post will carry unique creatives for the campaign, and leading independent golf websites Golfalot, Golfshake, Golfmagic and Golf Today will all carry banner ads, as will golf club member network HowDidIDo.

And iSpyGolf, the visual search website for golf clubs and golf breaks, is combining SkyCaddie, SkyPro and SkyTrak advertising on its website with a special promotion with The Times newspaper and online.

Each digital medium is also posting about SkyCaddie on social media, plus hosting product reviews and editorial features in tandem with the campaign, which represents SkyCaddie’s most comprehensive web and digital sales support to date in the UK.

“Advertising like this plays an important dual role” said Magic Hour Media’s Andy Hiseman, who planned and bought the campaign for SkyCaddie. “Clearly our main goal is to drive UK golfers to seek out their nearest PGA retailer, and buy the product. But the campaign also helps to strengthen SkyCaddie’s strong relationships with all kinds of golf media.
