SkyCaddie announces Jan 1st price-rise for SkyTrak

HADDENHAM, BUCKS, UK – The award-winning SkyTrak personal launch monitor and golf simulator will increase in price by £100 to £1,895 from January 1st, 2017, SkyCaddie has announced today.

UK sales of the SkyTrak have been strong since its UK debut, just over a year ago, given its significantly-lower price point when compared to other leading launch monitor brands.

The recent introduction of a 0% finance deal, enabling people to buy SkyTrak for a low, interest-free monthly payment, has also triggered a surge in sales.

SkyCaddie is also currently running a popular promotion where golfers can get almost £200 off SkyTrak Game Improvement software and Protective Case, with an Offer Code which they can get from their local SkyTrak Showcase Dealer.

In-club and at-home use of SkyTrak as an entertainment system is also increasing as the UK market gets to grips with SkyTrak’s extensive golf simulator options which, in 2017, will include deals with at least five leading golf software companies giving access to over 100,000 high-definition golf courses.

This summer’s post-Brexit fall of the pound against the dollar has made the price increase unavoidable, says Holmes. “Sterling has depreciated against the dollar by over 15% in the last 12 months, and as our SkyTrak costs are set against the US currency we can no longer absorb the additional cost here in the UK” he said.

The photometric SkyTrak is compatible with both iOS and PC, and provides golfers with immediate and detailed feedback on the most important parameters with professional-grade accuracy.

As well as using SkyTrak to practice and improve, users can also play full-length, high-resolution golf on world-famous courses with their SkyTrak using golf simulator software such as World Golf Tour, E6 Golf by TruGolf, The Golf Club Game and Jack Nicklaus Perfect Golf.
