SKYCADDIE GPS LAUNCHES ALL-COLOUR SG5 PRO MODEL

New top-of-the-range golf rangefinder is packed with features

SkyCaddie – the market-leading golf GPS rangefinder – has launched a brand new top-of-the-range model, the stunning SG5 Pro Series.

The unveiling of the colour-screen SG5 Pro Series in time for Christmas gives golfers access to the most sought-after rangefinder in golf.

The SG5 has a RRP of £299 and is packed with exciting new features that take the handheld SkyCaddie, already the official rangefinder of the PGA, to new levels of functionality.

Golfers will experience a 220 x 176 resolution colour screen, automatic backlighting, 14-hours of rechargeable battery life, a mini-USB port, four-way scroll pad and a water-resistant body.

Jackie Hitchcock, of SkyCaddie, said: “Having already established SkyCaddie as the number one GPS rangefinder, the SG5 delivers a whole new experience to golfers.

“The colour screen really brings the course to life and this, combined with our IntelliGreen function, gives the golfer unbeatable information about what shot to play next – wherever they are on the course.”

The IntelliGreen technology enables golfers to measure the full depth and shape of the green from any angle of approach (wherever you’ve ended up on the course) and shows distances for all targets and hazards.

And with 1,800 courses mapped in Europe – and more than 16,000 now mapped worldwide and available for download from www.skycaddiegps.co.uk – demand in the UK for the innovative hand-held units has been growing dramatically.
The new SkyCaddie SG5 GPS rangefinder appeals to golfers on three levels – playing better, playing faster and having more fun!

It gives instant and accurate information via satellite, which includes exact yardages to the front of bunkers and water hazards and to carry them, and precise distances to the flag.

The yardages have been physically measured on foot by Skycaddie’s UK team of ‘course enablers’. So unlike other rangefinders, who used outdated aerial photography, the detail has been verified by golfers, for golfers.

The SkyCaddie SG5 conforms to USGA/R&A rulings and golfers are able to download the courses they want to play via a range of annual SkyPlayer Membership schemes
