THE SHIRE LONDON HOLDS GREEN FEE PRICES FOR 2013

BARNET, NORTH LONDON – The Shire London, the UK’s only Seve Ballesteros design, has held its green fee prices for 2013, and golfers can still play this internationally-recognised golf course from just £55, from April 1st.

The decision to remain at £55 (M-F) and £70 (Weekends) means that last year’s small increase is still the only one in the six years since The Shire London opened.

”Because of our strong membership and thriving golf days & functions business, we are happy to continue to offer this international-quality golf course to golfers in the south of England at what we feel is unbeatable value” says The Shire’s Ceri Menai Davis. “Where else around London or the South can you play a golf course which offers such a memorable challenge, in such glorious condition, designed by a true maestro, at this sort of price?”

”Going into our seventh season, visitors to The Shire London in 2013 will find that Mother Nature – and a fantastic course management team led by Tony Peterson – has done justice to Seve’s unique vision” he continues.

The 2013 Green Fee rates at The Shire London are:

SINGLES (from April 1st)

• Single Weekday Green Fee: £55 (Monday-Friday)
• Single Weekend Green Fee: £70 (Weekends after 13:00)

No Green Fees can be booked before 13:00 at weekends. Special Web-Only rates, including variable Twilight prices, are also available from just £35.

FOURBALLS (from April 1st)

Fourballs are available at the reduced rates below, if booked via the Pro Shop at least seven days in advance. A weekday Fourball Green Fee at The Shire London includes either Full English Breakfast before golf, or Chef’s Special after golf.

• Fourball Weekday Green Fee: £175 (Mon-Thu .. includes Food)
• Fourball Weekday Green Fee: £185 (Fri .. includes Food)

Visitor green fees are available after 13:00 at weekends, although weekend Fourball prices at The Shire London do not include food.

• Fourball Weekend Green Fee: £210 (Weekends after 13:00)

No Green Fees can be booked before 13:00 at weekends. Weekend Fourball prices exclude Food.
