PXG and Honma mobile fittings prove popular

• Exclusif Golf rolls out Honma & PXG mobile fitting service after eight-month UK trial
• Enables UK golf clubs to sell ultra-premium brands at no risk

A new service which opens the way for UK golf clubs to sell ultra-premium golf brands Honma and PXG, without tying up large sums of money in stock, launches this week.

Called Exclusif Golf, the mobile custom-fitting service is initially targeted at golf clubs around London and the South East, but expansion to cover the rest of the UK is expected soon.

An eight-month trial at a group of clubs around London has proven successful, and the service is now being rolled out to cater for potential Honma and PXG customers at any golf club.

Custom-fitter and clubmaker Richard Edginton travels to fit the customers, with the follow-up handled by Exclusif Golf’s UK manager Andy Hiseman.

“Honma is very popular among golfers who are prepared to spend a little more for that extra performance and quality” said Hiseman, who is the main contact for all enquiries. “It is a complex range with a lot of choice, including a huge array of Honma’s own shafts, and requires a specialist custom-fit to ensure the customer finds the right spec for his or her game. And the sudden explosion of interest in PXG – another brand at a premium price point – has come from the brand’s spectacular recent growth on the PGA Tour. Early reactions to the clubs have been off the charts.

“This is why we have now rolled out Exclusif Golf – to make it very easy for any golf club to capitalise on the growing interest in these two ultra-high quality, painstakingly-fitted, hand-crafted golf brands. Simply call us when you have a customer who is interested, and our fitter will arrange to visit. We handle all aspects, and pay the golf club a good commission on all sales.

“With Honma and PXG, the performance statistics you can achieve on a launch monitor are usually spectacular, when compared to your current clubs” said Hiseman. “We were delighted that Richard agreed to come on board this springtime, and we are looking forward to a busy summer fitting golfers for these two amazing golf brands.”
