After
18 years the media, encompassing national press (The Sun, The
News of The World), national radio (RTL, Radio Luxembourg,
Atlantic 252), consumer goods (Hornby Hobbies), consumer
magazines (Emap) and the internet (Ifyoutravel, Online
Travel Corporation), Andy Hiseman began to supply independent
executive / Board level support to golf businesses on a project
basis in 2002. Having joined the golf industry in 1996 as Advertising
Manager of FORE!, he soon became Publisher of Emap's market-leading
golf magazine portfolio including Today's Golfer,
FORE!, Golf Weekly
and Golf Industry News Europe plus the
award-winning industry research Golf Futures
(with The Henley Centre). After a further 18 months as
Commercial Director of Emap Active's sports magazines unit (including
Golf World and Match),
and a two-year spell developing sports and travel websites across
Europe he is now a full-time golf consultant.
In
Autumn 2004 Hiseman Limited added a PR / Advertising / Marketing
service to its golf business consultancy services. In Spring 2006
the company added a suite of specialist golf digital marketing services
to its product line. We are now one of the UK's leading 100% golf-focused

point of contact for all customers. After a couple of 'challenging'
years running the Service Desk at a big car dealership in Barnsley,
working in the warm & friendly golf industry is a bit like a
paid holiday.

Kay
is our main story teller - she calls journalists when we have a
new Press Release or announcement to make, and keeps track of where
the story is going. She handles the bulk of our image, interview
and information requests, and is a dab hand at organising Press
Conferences.
Peter
McEvoy OBE
In
its role as independent consultants to the golf industry, Hiseman
Limited enjoys an informal relationship with several golf architects.
One such person is Peter McEvoy OBE, the most successful English
international golfer in history, 2-time winning Walker Cup Captain
(and Chairman of Selectors for the victorious 2003 GB&I Walker
Cup team), 5-time Walker Cup player and British, European and World
Amateur Champion. Peter is one of the most respected figures in
the world of golf, and his company Sporting Concepts has designed
golf courses, advised developers and operators on best business
practice, run golf tours, organised golf tournaments and developed
international and domestic sponsorship and membership sales programmes
for over 20 years. Designer of many prestige golf courses such as
Powerscourt, Desert Springs and
Fota Island, and the ground-breaking 'golf in an
hour' 6-hole concept golf course at Playgolf Northwick Park
in London, where every hole exactly replicates one of the world's
most famous golf holes.
